Solarscope H-alpha filter SF70

Just acquired this H-alpha filter recently after a long and hard decision making period.  Enjoy the photos.!C5O3wk&N:n7~`m

A glance of the filters shows its very well made mechanical quality of the filter, especially the tuning knob.  IT is much stiffer than the Coronado's Tmax tuner, and this will not require me to readjust the filter everytime I take it out.  The outside is anodized clear, maintaining the silver aluminium colour. The following post shows the front of the filter, 70mm in clear aperture.  Solarscope's selling point is that there is no obstruction in the filter and thus allows for maximum resolution and contrast to be achieved.

The pictures shown below is the blocking filter.  This has 20mm aperture and has a 2" nosepiece.  The fitler set also comes with a 2-1.25" adapter.  The blocking filter comes with both aluminium caps as well.

The filter is screwed onto a very well made and nicely fitted filter adapter.  The outside of this adapter is white and it is fully darkened on the inside.  There are six stainless steel screws to tighten the adapter to the dewshield.
