The Sun on 30 August 2008

I had finally managed to squeeze some time to take an image of the Sun this morning with my new filter - Solarscope 70.  Not much activity except for two sets of prominences which was visible through the SF70.  Enjoy.

It was taken using the filter which i had posted many pictures of earlier this month.  :)

问一句，这个日珥看起来是动态的吗，还是很长时间都保持那样？

看日食的时候感觉，日珥动得太慢了，向静止的一样 ，，，，

;w1oQq^*b4W Both shots were taken through the same H-alpha filter.  Different exposures were used, meaning that the prominence shot were taken at 50 millisec, while the surface shot was taken using shorter time.  Video files were captured and Registax 4 was used to process and sharpen the images.
